The university’s international activity is based on the principles of independence, equality and mutual benefit. The main direction of international cooperation includes:

developing effective and mutually beneficial partner ties with educational, scientific and cultural institutions abroad on the basis of bilateral working programs;
- participating in international projects and programs;
- organizing international scientific conferences, seminars and exhibitions;
- creating conditions for the staff members, post graduate and undergraduate students to study abroad;
- exchanging academics to give lecturers and tutorials, to share methodological experience aimed at improving the structure and content of education. The university has concluded 15 agreements on partnership, cooperation and scientific exchange with organization and higher institutions of learning in the Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Germany, Austria, Poland and Turkey;
- organizing exchange of students to acquire a better knowledge of the history, culture and education in the Republic of Belarus and the countries of the near and further abroad.
