The Department of innovation and international activities is an independent office of the institution of education Baranovichi State University .

The key objective of the Department is to ensure managerial, technical and informational-methodical support of the University international and innovative- scientific activities.

The following goals are set by the Department of innovation and international activities:

establishing and developing effective and mutually beneficial partner relations of the university with world leading institutions of education and scientific research in order to prepare and implement bilateral and multilateral cooperation projects in the sphere of education, science and culture, to participate in student exchange programmes;
providing support in informational, technical, consulting and coordinating respect to the university departments , the staff and students in work with international funds, programmes, projects and grants;
terms execution and foreign students study conditions monitoring at the university;
monitoring, documentary and informational ensuring of research activities at the university;

The Department of innovation and international activities fulfils, in conformity with the objectives stated above, the following functions:

assessment of priority areas of international relations and relations between universities development;
analysis, classification and preparation of documents on international and research activities at the university (orders, regulations, methodical recommendations, etc.);
informational and analytical support provided for university departments, the staff and students about international funds, programmes, projects and grants;
consulting of the university staff and students about the peculiarities of participation in international programmes, projects and grants;
coordination and the activity control of the university departments, the staff and students concerning the participation in international projects, project and report documentation preparation;
organization of visits of foreign delegations, academics, scientists and students to the University;
departure documents of the university staff and students control and supervision;
educational and scientific trainings of the faculty and students in foreign countries supervision;
international activity of the university advertising using mass media and Internet;
representing Baranovichi State University interests in international organizations and associations, during international conferences and other similar events;
cooperation with public bodies, public organizations and private individuals in the field of international partnership, arrival and education of foreign students;
invitation, admission, registration and health status monitoring of foreign citizens (entrants) at the university;
monitoring the educational work of the faculty concerning all sorts of peculiarities of work with foreign students: their general training, the Russian language usage capabilities, qualification required in their native country, national, cultural, religious and individual features of foreign students;
assistance of neighbourly relations development between foreign citizens of different nationalities and the university staff, as well as in relation to representatives of foreign embassies, national communities.

international research works, seminars, conferences carrying out;
managing documents related to research projects, contracts and reports;
control of the realization of research projects on budget and contract basis;

information provision about research and innovation activities of the faculties and departments of the university, procedure of research works regulation;
