Institution of education “Baranovichi State University” invites foreigners for getting higher education, having the education, according to the general secondary or specialized secondary education in the Republic of Belarus, and having finished preparatory departments of the higher educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus.
Foreigners’ admission is carried out according to the following documents:
- Rules of admission to higher educational establishments, ratified by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus ¹ 80 dated 07.02.2006 with alterations and addition, brought in by the President’s Decrees ¹ 70 dated 08.02.2008, ¹ 52 dated 23.01.2009 and ¹ 243 dated 12.05.2009;
- Rules of foreigners’ training in the Republic of Belarus (Decree of the Board of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus 07.07.1993 ¹ 442);
- Exemplary order of foreigners’ interviewing (supplement to the letter of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.08.2008 ¹ 11-14-26/232);
- Instruction on the order of reconcilement of foreigners’ invitations for education by departments on citizenship and migration of Department of Home Affairs of the Republic of Belarus (Decree of Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated 25.07.2007 ¹ 175/39-à)
1. Documents necessary for foreigners to get invitation for education
It is necessary to send the following documents to the university mail address, by fax or e-mail till the 5th of July of the current year:
- A foreigner’s application (fulfilled in Russian);
- Notarized copy of certificate of education;
- Copy of national passport;
- All copies must be notarized.

2. Informing about the receipt of invitation for education and entrance visa to the Republic of Belarus
Having received the invitation for education at Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the applicant’s country, a foreign citizen must inform BarSU International Relations Office about the approximate date of arrival to Belarus:
3. Documents for admission to BarSU
Having arrived to Belarus a foreign citizen renders the following documents to the admissions office of the university:
- application on admission for education;
- documents on education (originals);
- original of medical certificate (from the applicant’s country);
- medical HIV-certificate (from the applicant’s country);
- insurance policy valid in the Republic of Belarus;
- notarized birth certificate;
- 8 photos 3x4 cm;
- certificate of faculty of pre-university training, preparatory department, preparatory courses of higher educational establishments;
- national passport with educational visa.
It is necessary to render the notarized documents’ translation into Russian or Belarusian.
The deadline of document admission - till 15 October.
4. Obligatory interview for foreigners
Foreigners, not having a certificate of pre-university training / preparatory course / preparatory department or graduated from a faculty of pre-university training not according to the chosen profile, must be interviewed on their knowledge of the Russian Language and profile subjects:
economic speciality:
- Russian,
- Mathematics,
- Foreign Language,
technical speciality:
- Russian,
- Mathematics,
- Physics,
speciality of the faculty of foreign languages:
- Russian,
- Foreign language,
- Mathematics / General History.
5. Agreement and fees
The university concludes an agreement on education with an applicant.
After successful interview the enrolment of a foreigner is carried out according to the agreement concluded between the university and a student.
University guarantees to provide a foreign applicant with a room in the university’s comfortable dormitory.

6. Before the beginning of studies a foreign citizen must…
- be registered at Baranovichi migration office in three working days after arrival to Belarus;
- conclude agreements on study and living;
- pay for study and living;
- be tested by Baranovichi public health service.
